The Lowe Syndrome Charity is run by parents for medical research for Lowe Syndrome (& Dent's disease) families. Babies are born with multiple symptoms including cataracts in both eyes, failure to thrive, weak muscles and bones, kidney problems, cysts & autism.

The lowe charity funds essential (worldwide) medical research for Lowe Syndrome Children, supporting many projects such as Gt Ormond St, Moorfields (cataracts), Imperial College London and Dundee. The charity is run by unpaid volunteers and just recieved an award in 2005 by CAF and Institute of chartered Accountants for excellence. See www.lowetrust.com
