We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Yay!  I have successfully completed the challenge without causing injury to myself or anybody else, raising over £500 (plus c.£120 in Gift Aid) for Cancer Research in the process.  I also did it in fancy dress in the end and will try and find some photographic evidence to prove it!   Thank you very much to everybody who was kind enough to sponsor and support me, your help was very much appreciated.

While I nurse my aches and pains, this site will continue to be available to donate to until 22nd December 2006.

Thanks again.

Nathalie xx

---*---*---*---

On Sunday 22nd October 2006, I'm taking part in the Ski Everest Challenge.  The challenge is to ski or snowboard (I'll be snowboarding) the equivalent height of Mount Everest (29035ft/8850m), which is 45 runs down the slope at Xscape, Braehead.  This should take me between 4 and 5 hours and will probably hurt... lots (any offers of hot baths, stiff drinks and foot rubs gratefully considered!)

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

I also have a sponsor sheet if you prefer to do things the old-fashioned way!

So please sponsor me now, no amount is too small!!

Many thanks for your support.
