this is the complete GPS route from Ben Nevis car park start to Snowdon car park finish.
Where I go off the track on Snowdon I was nearly blown off the mountain and had to cling to the ground for a while, that woke me up.
Thanks again to everyone for pledging towards the Bristol Children`s Hospital, it goes a long way.

Richard Lewis. Hi, I run a heating and plumbing business in Bristol, my home town. I like cycling and walking and have raised money in the past for Guide Dogs and Children in Need, taking part in bike rides, half marathons and a triathlon most recently.
I want to raise at least £1,000 for Bristol Children`s Hospital through the Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal which right now is raising funds for new equipment and facilities, see here http://www.grandappeal.org.uk/
I am attempting the Three Peaks Challenge, on 11th June 2013, climbing Ben Nevis (tallest in Scotland) - then Scafell Pike (tallest of England), then Snowdon (tallest in Wales), finishing at the bottom of Snowdon, all in 24 hours including travel. I registered here http://www.threepeakschallenge.org/webcams
I have tried out in Pen y Fan, in South Wales and am doing Snowdon very soon, plus my training`s going really well - mainly running around in the woods for a few hours (!)
I`ve got a good driver who will be dressed as `the stig` on the day.
I will post regular updates leading up to the date, and will be recording the journey throughout with a Garmin etrex or similar which will record the entire journey and also geo-tag photo`s etc. This will be uploaded to this site or the Three Peaks Challenge.co.uk site for proof!
If I cannot complete it within the 24 hours due to bad travel conditions / injury I would ask donors to stand by their donation, and if the event is cancelled through uncontrollable circumstances, e.g poor weather, road closures, etc, I will of course re-arrange it a.s.a.p.
Wish me luck and thanks for your donation to the Grand Appeal.
