Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, every donation is another reason to train a little bit harder.

You can learn more about the PSP Association and their fund raising activity by visiting www.pspeur.org. Your donation will help the charity in their fight against this devastating neuralgic disease.

There are three reasons why I'm running the marathon:

1. It's been my ambition since I was about four
2. To raise money for charity; one of the reasons I chose this charity is that Dudley Moore, a hero of mine, died from PSP
3. I'm running in memory of Carl Wayne*, a family friend, who died in August 2004. Carl ran the marathon many times, raising a great deal of money in the process. He provided me with advice and encouragement as my interest in running grew and it would be great to get anywhere near his best time.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The PSP Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support, Alex * You can read about Carl at www.Carlwayne.co.uk
