A voluntary search and rescue team made up of local cavers, climbers and walkers. Providing a highly skilled service in the Three Peaks and Malhamdale areas of the Yorkshire Dales. The team, estabished in 1935, is entirely reliant on public donations and is on call at all times.

My story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. University of Newcastle Caving Club is raising money for Cave Rescue Organisation. CRO is a voluntary search and rescue team that helps rescue cavers, walkers and climbers alike.

We successfully completed a sponsored crawl on Saturday 2nd May 2009, from CRO's headquarters in Clapham, to the top of Ingleborough - the second highest peak in Yorkshire (723 m)! On top of that, we crawled the whole way in caving gear....so please sponsor us for our efforts! A huge thank-you to all the walkers on Ingleborough on Saturday for their support and donations.
