The 50 plus year old Anti-Assassins Rugby Club were the first team to join with Wooden Spoon over 4 years ago. Since then the team has played many XV a-side games in the UK as well as winning major 7's tournaments. The players fund their own costs to play in the events to help raise the profile of the charity as well as raising funds for disadvantaged children. By attending these high profile tournaments the team is generating extensive direct corporate and individual support for the children Spoon helps.  Over the next six months the players will be participating in many fundraising activities including skydives, fun runs and sponsored silences to help reach their fundraising target.
