We made it! And it was absolutely exhilerating. Deborah and I endured four long days of cycling over the North and South Downs, through the winds off the Channel, up and down the constant undulations of the French terrain and over the cobbled Paris streets. Completely worth it.
There were 87 people on our trip led by the capable and supportive crew from Skyline. Between the five cyclists riding for WDM we managed to raise over £5000 for the charity.
Many thanks again for all of your support and generosity. For anybody wondering if this is something you might want to do, I'd completely recommend trying it.
