I was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis caused through gallstones back in May 2008 after a massive attack which almost killed me. I lost 4 stone in 7 weeks, had 2 major operations over 10 months, almost lost my home as I was unable to work, I suffer with pain and discomfort requlary. I am now diabetic also caused by the pancreatitis. I can never drink alcohol again (which isn't a bad thing I suppose :)

I love mountain biking and thought this ride would be perfect to fundraise for the PSN and give something back for all their hard work.

The Pancreatitis Support Network is my chosen charity as they help sufferers and their familes through the difficult times and also provide pain relief machines etc.
