Recently Seeking Reward Foundation successfully completed 4 deep bore hole Water Wells in Nigeria. Not only have thousands of people been given access to clean water, many people have become Muslims, Al-hamdulilah!

Many of you missed out on the opportunity to donate last time, as a result we received requests to build more wells. For this reason Seeking Reward Foundation are bringing you the opportunity to donate towards a deep bore hole Water Well which we will build in Uganda this month, insha-Allah!

Here is more information about the location where the well be built insha-Allah:

We are raising £2000 to build 1 deep bore hole Water Well in Masindi district, Western Uganda. This area is close to the border of Democratic Republic of Congo where there are lots of refugees fleeing from the wars in neighbouring countries. The area contains a mixture of Muslims and Christians. We hope this project will have the same effect as our last Nigeria project, where many Christians reverted to Islam.

The people of this district are in a real bad situation. People are regularly dying from all types of diseases due to unclean water, poor sanitation, no access to clean water and the long distances they have to travel to get clean water (if they make it back). Lack of clean water is killing people in Uganda on a large scale. Without clean water the Ugandans cannot fight diseases such as, HIV, malaria, typhoid, Ebola fever and cholera.

The Water Well will be accessed by 1000s of people, in fact our source in Africa has advised us this district requires 2 Water Wells! If Allah opens the hearts of the people and we can raise for another well, then we will, insha-Allah.

Mothers who are breastfeeding have no option but to drink from dirty rivers and infect their babies with numerous diseases. SubhanAllah, these people dont have the basic commodity of water that most of us are blessed with.

Clean water is not the only problem for these people, however, most of these people have been raped, abused, lost their properties and families to the wars in the surrounding countries, victims of all types of social problems.

The 2nd well be built in the Iganga District, Eastern Region, Uganda. This water well will provide clean water to the very poor needy villages in and around a village called Naluwerere. There are mostly Muslims in these villages who have to travel approx 18km to get clean water!
