Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
I've decided to participate in the RAG Three Peaks Challenge 2014 to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Centre. There were many reasons I signed up - 1. This is a cause that I feel very strongly about; 2. This should be post-PhD submission so I'll have a bit of energy to burn; and 3. It sounded like fun* (added bonus - we'll be finishing on my 28th birthday!)
The event involves attempting to hike up Ben Nevis in Western Scotland (4,409ft), Scafell Pike in the English Lake District (3,209ft), and Snowdon in North Wales (3,560ft) in 24hrs along with a little over 400miles of driving. So to recap - the challenge is to climb 11,178ft in 24hrs in between breaks of seeing UK scenery from the wonderful vantage of a minibus.
The organisers have set individual targets for us each to raise £300. Any and all donations will help in reaching this target. I would like to say thank you once again for visiting this page and please feel free to share this page via Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or any other means of communication.

*Yes, I said FUN! Disclaimer - I actually enjoy endurance events and testing limits. As it's for a good cause, I feel entirely vindicated in stating this upfront.
