Once again thank you SO MUCH to all those who have donated to the cause so far! Seven of us slept out in St Clement's churchyard on Saturday. It was cold and clear at midnight but damp and misty by the early morning when we climbed out of damp sleeping bags and headed homewards to numerous cups of tea.. Special thanks to Lilian and Ben for their help in getting us there, and to Serenhedd for his pastoral visit!

This Saturday 19th November a group of us from St Stephen's House took part in the Oxford Sleep-out, an annual community event raising funds to help Oxford's homeless people. Our team was made up of all members of our community: ordinands, trainee teachers, independent students and family members. We slept outside St Clement's church-yard for the night.

The aim of the sleep-out is to raise money for local projects providing shelter and support to homeless people and to increase public awareness of the plight of homeless people and the extent of housing problems in Oxford. Please sponsor us and support them if you can!
All funds raised support local homeless charities, which have included in recent years: Break-through, Lucy Faithfull House, Elmore Community Services, Emmaus, The Gatehouse, Oxford Homeless Pathways, Simon House, Steppin' Stone Centre.
