<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.</p> <p>A team of 13 local volunteers are taking part in a humanitarian project in May, to Nakuru, Kenya. The money raised will be spilt between the project in Kenya and 'Derby County in the Community - Disability Football'.</p> <p>The vast majority of children we will be working with in Kenya come from immensely poor backgrounds. 1 in 5 children will not reach their 5th birthday. It is uncommon for children to benefit from two parents and consequently many lack positive adult role models in their lives. The basic provision of somebody's time, effort and attention can make a huge difference. This attention is crucial to improve a child's social interaction and communicative abilities.</p> <p>Your money will help to provide resources to support key areas of development in the community. last year, the project provided funding for 3 new classrooms, the provision of the materials and volunteers to build them.</p> <p>Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
