The Children’s Society’s London Marathon team is raising awareness and vital funds for children in this country who aren’t safe, loved or able to cope.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to do something which for me is quite huge... I have decided and been accepted to be a part of The Children's Society London Marathon Team!

I have wanted to do a challenge of some sort for quite a while and I have also wanted to raise money for a charity that I could relate to as well - so I have combined these two things.

I was sexually abused from the age of 6 until the age of 19 by my Uncle (I am 23 now) I tried to prosecute him for what he had done however before my case was able to go to court he committed suicide. Since then I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety and have gone on a very long journey to get to where I am now.

I wanted to find a charity who supports children through simlar things to what I have experienced which is when I came across The Children's Society. This charity does a lot of incredible work helping vulnerable children in a number of different circumstances.

I would really appreciate any support that you can give me however big or small.
