Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It's been a couple of years since I last ran for charity but it is time to get those creaky old limbs going again :) I am taking part in this year's Staines 10K on Sunday 16th May. This race has one big bonus - it is mainly flat.
If you can donate - even a £1 with Gift Aid makes a MASSIVE difference - it would be much appreciated. Or you can help plug this page and the work of the Macular Disease Society.
Many thanks as the true stars are YOU who donate or spread the word. Thank you all.

As well as charity Ebay auctions of signed items kindly donated by bands and celebrities I have added an extra idea to drum up funds after listening to the Danny Baker show where he launched ’The Shirt Of Hurt’ for Sport Relief -

It is such a good idea and I have adapted it for my fundraising for the Macular Disease Society. I will be wearing a Port Vale top for the entire run, bearing in mind I am a lifelong supporter of Stoke City and can't stand that team! To have to run for at least an hour for 6 1/2 miles is going to be…well fill your own words in here. I am just glad I am running around Staines and not Stoke.
