This chestnut horse, along with another pony were visited by the RSPCA and World Horse Welfare in August, but despite being visited by a vet who declared them to be "not suffering" they were left to suffer for another month.

Thanks to a very caring local man, the horses' plight was brought to the attention of members of the Horse and Hound forum.

Within 24 hours a small group of forum members and representatives from the BHS were at the field and working to ensure these horses are no longer suffering.

The BHS have been amazing in facilitating the rescue of these horses and thoroughly deserve our donations, so please, any amount will help :)
