Our challenge, to raise funds for the STARLIGHT CHILDRENS FOUNDATION (www.starlight.org.uk), is a triathlon covering 50 miles consisting of:.....

1 mile SEA SWIM, 9 mile RUN, 40 mile CYCLE.

The triathlon is based around Seaton and the Axe Valley. The group, consisting of 12 'athletes' of varying shapes, sizes and abilities, will be confronted by the challenge of a one mile sea swim off the beach at Seaton followed by a nine mile road and cross country run along the Axe Valley followed by a 40 mile cycle ride around the hilly terrain of Devon, and Dorset.

The event will be followed by a celebration for participants, family, friends, supporters and sponsors at the Axe Yacht Club with live music, hog roast, an auction and raffle.

Thanks go to The Flamingo Pool in Axminster for help with providing training facilities and to Soames Cycles in Colyton for kindly providing servicing for our bikes.
