We did it!

Suitably kitted out with scarves, hats, rainproofs, pyjama bottoms and plenty of chocolates, the Information Transfer team defied the threatening rainclouds and the blustering winds of Saturday night.

We walked the genome to the rhythm of marching songs. We crossed the historic city centre to the sound of honking horns. We lengthened our strides along the Backs, still chattering away. By now our minds, muscles and feet were firmly focused on the goal - the bacon roll and hot chocolate waiting for us at the end!

A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored us and cheered us on! We're overwhelmed by your generosity and delighted to have raised so much for the hospice.

Come and join us next year!

Rachel, Debbie and Tove

On Saturday 8th May, a small team of ladies from Information Transfer is taking part in the Starshine stroll to help raise funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. The event is a 10-mile walk in and around Cambridge, starting and finishing at the Shelford Rugby Club. Arthur Rank House is dedicated to providing specialist palliative care and support to patients, their families and carers when the patients' condition no longer responds to curative treatment.

This is a very worthwhile cause, so please dig deep and donate now.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. They’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
