Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad, and two uncles are in the Fire Service, they are absolute heroes in my eyes and I am incredibly proud of their selflessness when it comes to the Fire Service.  I am going to be doing a sponsored Skydive in aid of the Fire-fighters Charity on Saturday 21st August, please show your support for me, for them and for all of the other fire fighters who really don’t the recognition they deserve by sponsoring me as much as you can.

When a fire-fighter’s alerter sounds and they leave their homes and race to the fire station, they have no idea what they are heading to.  Whether it be a cat stuck up a tree, a fire at your home or place of work, a car accident or any other crisis that these brave men are called to they go without a second thought.  When they run into a burning building, there is always the very real risk of serious injury, and when the worst happens not only fire fighters suffer, but also their families.

The Fire-fighters Charity helps support injured fire fighters, both physically and emotionally, enabling them to return to work faster.  Unbelievably, the Charity receives no government funding and relies entirely from beneficiary and public donations.  You are just one click away form helping.  Please show your support for such a worthy cause.
