Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I'm going to be doing the Sahara Desert Challenge to raise money for the Red Cross in April 2006 which will involve me trekking over the worlds biggest desert, larger then the entire United States, a vast of sand and rock swept by raging winds and shifting dunes. The Sahara remains one of the last true areas of wilderness: the hottest, driest, most inhospitable places on earth.

In order for me to do this I will have to raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,800

The Sahara Desert Challenge 8 - 15th April 2006

Day 1- London to Quarzarate

Day 2 - the trek begins into the Sahara, and my first view of this awesome place.

Day 3 - Wadi to desert plateau and into the sand dunes.

Day 4 - Across the sands into the Oasis.

Day 5 - Today I will see the great views of the surrounding plains and distant peaks

Day 6 - my final day of trekking, our camp will appear like a mirage. Tonight we party with our newfound Moroccan friends.

Day 7 back to Quarzarate and a well needed shower and bed

Day 8 - Fly back to London Many thanks for your support.
