The Marathon des Sables is a 150 mile, 6 day run through the sand Dunes of Morocco.  I have been training for this for over a year, and the big day is the 27th March 2008.

This is such a huge event for me, I feel that others should get something out of it as well.  I chose to support the work of the Dogs Trust because my friend works there and  has made me aware of the fantastic work they do there for unwanted dogs.

The target is £1000 and I hope we can make that.  If it goes over, please don't stop giving what you spare. They do do a great job for our four legged friends...
