<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;">A group of staff members (past and present) is undertaking the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for equipment for our new school playground. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Nine daring individuals will be attempting to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in just 24 hours. We also have two voluntary drivers to transport us between mountains.</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;">The distance we will be climbing up and down the mountains comes to about 26 miles. The highest mountain peak is 1344 metres. So we will be climbing a marathon over a day and a night whilst travelling across 3 countries. Needless to say, no small feat!</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;">Amongst the items we plan to buy for the school with the money we raise are a self-weighted rower (£1330) and a double cross country skier (£1366). These will provide the vital sensory and physical input that the pupils require on a daily basis. </span></p>
