Sussex Beacon Half Marathon 2010 · 21 February 2010 ·

For over 70 years, HCPT has journeyed to Lourdes with thousands of children and adults with additional needs-creating magic for guests and volunteers alike. All faiths, one heart. As our founder said: "It wasn't me at all - it was all of us." Your support means everything. 💛

Story

As some of you already know, I have been training for a half-marathon... and I don't even like running very much, so I thought it would be a good challenge!! : )

Inspired by my friend Emma Flood who has been taking children with special needs and disabilities away to Lourdes for a week of fun with HCPT Group 24 for the last 7 years, I would like to support her cause. Any online donations I receive will be going to HCPT - The Pilgrimage Trust.

For more information on the charity please see www.hcpt.org.uk

If you would like to sponsor me in cash, I am also raising money for the Naga City Youth Group Summer Camp that will be taking place in May in the Philippines. They hope to take 500+ underprivileged young people in the province of Camarines Sur to the beach for a week of fun! Any offline donations I receive will be going directly towards their Camp fund.

Drop me an e-mail to find out more about this: steph_caller@hotmail.co.uk

Feel free to come and support me on the day, I will be down in Brighton on Sunday 21st Feb and will definitely be up for a drink at lunchtime!!
