The charity focuses its resources on providing support for people affected by lung disease today; and works in a variety of ways (including funding world-class research) to bring about positive change, to improve treatment, care and support for people affected by lung disease in the future.

My personal message:

Hi,

Thank you visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I must be mad(i hear you say) but i have decided to run the  London Marathon.

Well i did it .I completed it in 4hr 31min 25sec.The whole experience was fantastic. I ran with Teresa til  about 22miles,which was great , we kept each other going.The crowds were great!! Many called out my name. I was really lucky to see my friends Jac, Keri, Anna at 21m and then i saw Mike and the kids at 23m, which really spurred me on. 

I thoroughly enjoyed the day.Jake managed to take a pic of me running.

Thanks to my family  and friends who waited patiently in the rain and those who tried to catch me on T.V

I have had great support from the guys at Bournville Harriers who keep me going week by week, without their support i don't think i would be able to do it!

I  need to raise  at least  £1,800 for a very worthy charity and need all the help I can get!!  A big thank you to all who have sponsored me so far!!
