Story

Hello Everyone.

I’m running a relay marathon in Edinburgh on the 25th May 08.

I would be very grateful if you would sponsor me.

I know, this will make many of you giggle at the vision of me pounding the streets of Edinburgh. But you know it must be a good cause to make me to get out of my bed, put on Lycra! (With my legs), and run. I’m running for a charity called CAP (Christians Against Poverty). They do a lot of fantastic work in the community. My cousin (the woman in the picture with me). Has been volunteering with them for quite a while. And I’ve learnt a lot about the different types of work they do through her. I’ve said to her before that the name is a little misleading, as it implies that they only help people with a Christian faith. But this is not true. They work with people in the community, regardless of background.

I’m running as part of a relay team, which is made up of crazy family and friends. I’ll be running a 5 mile leg! Which I’m sure, I’ll be feeling the affects of for many days after! Feel sorry for me, Laugh with me and cry with me. But please sponsor me and I’ll promise to send you all a picture, to prove that I finish my leg of the race.

Thank you,

Steph
