In memory of my granddad and great uncle, sadly gone recently, I've chosen as a tribute, to dedicate my Marathon du Medoc run to them, on the 12th of September and raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Alzheimer's Society is a great charity which is working to improve the knowledge about dementia and the quality of life of people affected by this disease - while pursuing the ultimate goal of finding a cure.

Marathon du Medoc is a race which combines effort, enjoyment and joie de vivre, accross 52 vineyards in the Bordeaux region (France). What I like about this Marathon is that not only you need a good training and pysical condition to complete 42 km but also the mindset for sharing, entertainment and true enjoyment for life.

Also, it's a dressed up Marathon and this year theme is .... CIRCUS! I will be revealing my outfit before the race by reaching a target of £1,500. so go, go, go, click,click on donate now!
