Story
LADIES AND GENTLEMAN - BOYS AND GIRLS, Now entering the arena, standing at a height of 6ft and weighing in at an impressive (NEVER YOU MIND LOL!) I will be cycling around manchester 26 or 52 miles on the 4th of June 2012 to raise money for ...the Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital.
So I humbley request your assistance in supporting me raise money for this charity in memory of my daughter who was so well looked after by the childrens hospital after being involved in a road traffic accident in which she recieved horrific injuries resullting in her having a aquired brain Injury from the severe damage to her brain and other associated disablities. Sadly my precious daughter passed away in 2009 after having a reoccuring fits when she was sleeping. So I wish to dedicate this ride on behalf of myself, her mother and the family; To the ambulance crews who I am fortunate to work alongside as a colleague now and the staff of the Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital for all the hard work they did and do on a daily basis day in and day out without any ask for thanks and are true unsung heroes Who gave my daughter and us seven years of precious memories she would not have had if not for their untiring devotion. I salute you x.
