Cyprus Cycle Challenge · 5 September 2012

We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am cycling around Cyprus with a team of 10 soldiers in order to raise money for a charity which is close to our hearts, ABF. The challenge is taking place from the 5-9 of September, covering 713 kilometres over the 5 days. Training is going well for some but for the likes of myself who as just started, things may get a little messy!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The distance that we will cover in total is 713 Kilometers in a 5 day period.

Day 1 will consist of 154 km from Kyrenia to Karpaz Peninsula.

Day 2, 176 km from Karpaz to Dhekelia.

Day 3, 137 km from Dhekelia to Episkopi.

Day 4, 106 km from Episkopi to Polis.

Day 5, 120 km from Polis to Kyrenia.

Although I loves ‘phys’ I don’t like that fact that I will have a sore bottom for the 5 days it will take to finish the event, if that doesn’t make you did deep nothing will!

Please sponsor us to make the challenge worthwhile, every little helps!
