I'm raising funds for Woking Hospice who do fantastic work for people in the community with terminal illness and their families. Three years ago a close friend of mine spent his last days in and out of the hospice and through their care provided him and his family the support they so desperately needed at that time of suffering. Before and after his death they provided child bereavement services to his young children which helped them to take on the challenge of a life without their dear dad.

With the recession taking hold Woking Hospice who rely totally on donations have been forced to close the Day Centre. I hope through my London Marathon fund raising efforts to give something back to this cause which serves my local community so well.
