My story
Total to date INCLUDING gift aid is over £35,000
Went from Fat bloke to running man aged 50.
70 months later I have run my 7000th mile which is equivilent of running to Miami Beach and almost back again (so far).
Why am I doing it?
WE have lost family members to cancer, plus my wife of 36 years was on the verge of Cervical cancer, but we caught that in time - thanks only to a information available which came as a result of research into cancers. Plus, I hate to say this, but cancer will touch you too in some way in the future.
STATS: Did you know 1 in 3 of us will actually personally suffer from of cancer in our lifetime. Research into cures and treatments for cancer is vital, and this is my small way to help us all in the future, especially our children.

Less than 2 weeks to go untill my SPARTAN BEAST and I've pulled a muscle in my back. It was going to be a hard event anyway with all those obstacle spread over 13 miles of mud and barbed wire - but now it might be my biggest challenge ever!

Just a quick update to let everyone know I am still raising funds. I realise these hard times means its going to slow down considerably, but I will keep plodding on towards my £50,000 goal.
