My story

In April I will be doing a gruelling 8-day skiing marathon and want to use this opportunity to raise money for cbm.

cbm is the world's largest overseas disability charity working with the poorest people in the world. "We will never make poverty history until we tackle disability" says the UK Chief Exec, Bill McAllister.

cbm is doing some amazing life-transforming things around the world. Check out their website at cbmuk.org.uk Although a one-off gift would be fab, if you can set up a standing order of £10 a month, that will help cbm to save the sight of 5 families EVERY month! Think how much your £10 could do each month.

I will be part of a team of 5 people spending 8 full days' skiing in the Val d'Isere in France from April 17. We will be trying to cover the whole of the 3 valleys in the time we are there. We will be burning approx 4,500 calories a day and will have a qualified, but crazy, doctor with us. I am going through the pain so you don't have to!
