I’m pleased to say that I completed the challenge in one piece at 4.30pm on Sunday 30 March. I ran, climbed and crawled for a total of 16 and a half hours, over 3 days of just about everything the British weather and Dorset coast had to throw at me.

No injuries apart from 6 black toenails (about to fall off) and a touch of sunburn. I am very tired though and can’t stop eating chocolate biscuits at the moment.

A BIG thank you to everyone for sponsoring me for such a great cause. Also thanks to the organisers at Votwo, the running partners I hooked up with along the way and Nep (my wife) for providing moral support at the checkpoints and nagging me to eat enough and keep a sensible pace.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On 28th - 30th March I will be competing in the 2008 Jurassic Coast Challenge. This is a 3 day race from Lyme Regis to Studland Bay in Dorset, along the UN World Heritage Jurassic Coastline - 78.6 miles. That's 3 marathons in 3 days with over 10,000 feet of vertical ascend!!!

Assuming I don't fall off a cliff, I would like to use this mad challenge as an opportunity to raise funds for Cancer Research UK, the UK's leading charity dedicated to cancer research. So any contribution or pledge, no matter how great or small, is greatly appreciated.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.

Cheers,

Stephen
