Thank you for your fantastic support , for those of you who were not within ear shot the week before the Marathon , you will not know I developed into a hypochondriac , with flu and cold symptoms -so in the circumstances 3 hours 33 minutes was not bad.
The great thing for me was that on a number of occasions thinking of your financial promises and raising funds for The Laura Centre kept me moving forward , up the hills and as the body began to fade , thank you for this motivation.
The fact I missed my personal goal by "a few minutes" (sorry Mr Tate) means I need to do the whole 26.2 miles again and The Laura Centre have asked that I raise funds by entering the London marathon in 2010 -how can I refuse !
We also have mention of running in pink tutu's and if this keep the funds coming in then it might just be worth while.
Once again many thanks for your support it is greatly appreciated.
Stephen

While my aim is to complete the Marathon in under 3hours & 30 minutes (something I have not achieved before), this will depend on how the training goes and how I feel on the day -As any runner will tell you .You start any Marathon with one objective -finishing.
