I am attempting to walk, along with Jeremy Clarkson clone Jon Crabtree, the legendary 38 mile "Rosedale Circuit" in a day. This is a North York Moors circular walk across rough terrain involving 6240 feet of ascent through Rosedale, Farndale, Bransdale,Westerdale, Danbydale, Fryupdale and Glaisdale Dale. The route is a couple of miles shorter than the more famous "Lyke Wake walk" but considered much more strenuous; and a genuine challenge to complete in under 16 hours.
