My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. On 14 September, I ran my first Half Marathon and much to the amazement of most of those who know me, I made it round, without stopping. (Oh but my legs and knees hurt, in fact I'm not entirely sure they are mine)

My time was 2 hours 5 minutes, which was a little disappointing as I had hoped to nip under the 2 hour mark - but hey ho you can't have everything and I have at least raised a bit of cash for charity.

I chose to run for Treating Autism as it is a cause close to my heart. They are at the forefront of researching biomedical methods of treating autism. If you had seen some of the results, and knew how difficult it is to get support, you would know how important this research and the support the organisation provides is.

You can still sponsor me, right up until the middel of December. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Treating Autism gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
