Hey everyone,

 

Well where do i start on the 25th April 2010 i will run the London Marathon in aid of the Make A Wish Foundation. My reason for doing this is that from August 2007 to August 2008 i was given an amazing opportunity to go and work within the entertainment department at the Walt Disney World resort in Florida. For everyone who knows me this was a dream come true and during my time there i was so fortunate to meet Make a Wish children. Everyday these kids smiles brightened up my day and they became such an inpsiration to me. Also i was given the chance to volunteer at the Give Kids the World Village where the children live with their families whilst visiting Florida. I seen during this time the AMAZING work, the Make A Wish Foundation do and such like charities and this gave me the desire to go on and raise even more money to enable a greater amount of kids to have their wishes granted. Not every kids wish is the same it may be a huge wish like going to Disney to meet their favourite character but on the other hand it maybe me something which seems small but each wish has the same value to that child!!

 

My mum and dad have also been a huge inspiration to me after they completed the marathon in 2009 so hopefully i can do them proud this year!! See the video i have attached of my dad after the marathon i hope i look in better condition than him after it haha.
