Little Havens Children's Hospice provides respite and terminal care for families caring for a child with either a life-threatening or life-limiting illness. It supports families from all over Essex and London. Its running costs amount to £2.1 million per year and it receives just 2% from government funding.

Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am running the 2007 Flora London marathon and I am raising much needed funds for Little Havens childrens hospice in Essex.

It costs £3.05 every minute to run Little Havens, their philosophy is that all the children they care for with life threatening or life limiting illness will be enabled to live their life to the full. It's a truly amazing place and I feel honoured to be able to support them.

Little Havens is the Children's Hospice in Essex, offering regular respite, end of life care and bereavement support to children and their families who are affected by life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Little Havens Children's Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

What an amazing day, huge crowds and good weather (for the supporters!)

Loved every minute of it and got a massive 20 minute p.b time of 2 hours 58 minutes and 31 seconds so I'll be smiling my face off for days! I'll do a proper write up in the next day or so.....
