Well thats it, amazing, the whole achievment has not set in yet, i arrived at St Fergus @ 11:55, covering total distance of 156 miles in 3 days 19 hours (ALL RUN AND NO WALKING ), remarkable what your body can cope with if a focussed mindset is developed. Dont get me wrong this has been a rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish, much pain and exhaustion, however at the end when you experience the rush of adrenaline created by the incredible welcoming party both at Boddam and St Fergus Gas Plant, THERE IS NO PAIN, its gone. Thank you so much to everyone for making this event a success, both financially and mentally, a challenge I dont think I could ever top (however the news reporter asked if i would do it again, of course i would for a good cause and more money £20,000.THANK YOU ALL

Will update shortly with New total, once i have recovered from few beers and a stonking curry.

The penultimate day has been awesome, really buzzing after speaking to Northsound on air, which generated lots of driver tooting etc which really drove me on, Amazingly managed to cover just over 40 miles today, starting at Kinneff and finishing up few miles North of Newburgh, Only left wih 22 miles to go tomorrow, Big thanks to Lee today would never had made the big 40 without his company and encouragement.

Love my wife she has been awesome with support and body fuel making duty (you have no idea how much fluids i have drunk approx 35 litres) and she loves the Transit! Passat will have to go. Here's hoping the Bridge of Don target reached tomorrow, I pray for pain free thighs for the morning, please. Money target Jumped up over the last 24 hours, sitting around £7.5k, cant believe it, come on.

Sunday: Started at 06:15, beautiful day but baltic and windy - IN MY FACE!!!!!!!!!!!! Started by making up Saturday's shortfall of 9 miles south of Arbroath. Finished up at the peak of Inverbervie Mountain! - Reached Kinneff (6 miles south of Stonehaven) by 18:00. Total for the day 38 miles. I'm knackered. Thanks to Kenny for all his encouragement.

Saturday's run: Tough day, though made it from Glenrothes to south of Arbroath. Felt empty and exhausted - legs were killing after all the Friday night squats!!!! 34 miles - Stonehaven here we come........

I have started heading north at 17:00hrs this evening, had a very rough first run (stopping three miles short of target only covered 19 miles, only 131 to go, extra tomorrow will have to be longer than planned, finding it cold with upset stomach and vomiting, not a great sign. Heres hoping this bug is gone come morning, nothing will stop me completing this challenge, the level of support and kindness has been truly amazing.

Many thanks to Lawrence at Whytes Cranes for their very kind donation of £500.00 today, fantastic. I really have to and will complete this challenge.

Also my mobile number is 07740513583, if you wish to join me at any time on route, share some miles, please call, would be greatly appreciated.

Although my original target was £1000.00, its a heck of a challenge, and deserves much more (so much pain to come), Please keep donating and many many thanks to those that already have. Its fantastic generous effort by all.

Starting from Shell’s Mossmorran site in Fife on Friday 24th September 2010, I intend to run approximately 150 miles to Shell’s St Fergus Gas Plant  to raise money for Northsound Radio’s charity, ‘Cash for Kids’.  I’d really love to complete this gruelling challenge within 4 days!  I’ve been training for months so hope I can do it – we’ll see!!!

Cash for Kids is a local charity.  Money raised goes to children throughout the Grampian area.  Groups which have benefited in the past range from respite care and special needs groups to local Down’s Syndrome, autistic and deaf groups, sports and music clubs, family centres, nursery groups and after school clubs.  This year Cash for Kids hopes to raise £200,000 for local children – I really want to complete this challenge to help make a contribution towards their target.

Please ensure you enter comment and include a date and time you believe i will reach St Fergus gatehouse to win overnight stay and Evening meal at Woodbank (Shells Pecten club in Cults Aberdeen)

Any donations will be very gratefully received.

Thanks again!

Steve
