So the time has come for me to ask for your support. With my football days over and my need to rid myself of my 30+ spread, I thought I would take up running. Never doing anything by halves I've taken the plunge and entered my first London Marathon.

I have chosen to run for the CF Trust, a charity close to my heart. I have family and friends affected by this disease, my sister Maria having undergone a life saving transplant 15 years ago. To celebrate this 15th anniversary I thought it was time for me to give something back.
