About the charity : St George's Community Children's Project Ltd St George's Community Children's Project Ltd
St Georges Community Childrens Project opened in 1982. It provides a full day care nursery, an after school club, term-time playgroup, holiday playscheme and parent & toddlers club. Managed by voluntary committee members the charity helps low-income families, families in temporary accommodation or the local women's refuge by providing subsidised places.

Personal message:

On Saturday 15th July 2006 I will be starting a journey from the most South Westerly tip of Britain (Land's End), to the most North Easterly tip (John O'Groats). I will be attempting to complete this trip by bicycle, on my own and unsupported lasting a distance of up to 1,000 miles. I am also hoping to complete this in around 10 days. I will be raising money for the St Georges Community Childrens Project as my son has been attending nursery there for the last couple of years or so. He starts school in September and so I have decided to raise money for them as a thank you for all of their hard work in aiding his development.
