On the 24th April I will be running the London Marthon to raise money for the Elimination of Leukaemia Fund (ELF).

The Elimination of Leukaemia Fund (ELF) was set up in 1977 to help advance the cure and treatment of leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and myelodysplasia.

ELF provides sponsorship for research into cures & treatments for blood cancers, funding for patient support activities, helps educate doctors, nurses & other health professionals about these types of cancers & provides support for the carers of suffers of these diseases.

In the 60's & 70's the majority of people died from Leukaemia & related conditions, now 80% of children survive and about 50% of adults.  This is substantially due to people like you donating money to charities like ELF who then fund research into cures for these diseases.

Whilst it's great news that the majority of people are surviving Leukaemia & related cancers, there still a long way to go to find a universal cure - so please keep donating & ELF will make sure that the money goes to the appropriate people.
