I've been convinced by my better half that hauling myself 5,891 metres to the top of a mountain would be a really good experience. I also thought i'd better achieve something memorable before i turn 30 and make my mummy proud. Besides my own reasons for wanting to climb Kili the money raised goes to the NASIO TRUST. The trust provides day care and an education for HIV and AIDS orpahans in a small region of KENYA.
I appreciate times are hard for everyone (unless you're one of my mates that works for western power) and if you're a copper reading this the thought of parting with your hard earned is probably making you feel light headed and sweaty, but any donation is going to make a big difference for a child who has not had the opportunity to provide for themselves. Plus the closer i get to my target the more likely it is I'm actually going to have to follow through with this and kill myself climbing up a big rock.
I'm going to be putting money towards the trip myself, and be assured you're money wont be sending me on a jolly to Africa, it'll be lots of hard work both before and during the trip.
