Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.   I am a barber by trade and work at Millenium Cutters in Goldthorpe.  In November last year I was asked by staff working at Stanniforths bakery if I would participate in a 7k walk to raise money for a lady who works with them, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer.  I never met the lady up to this point, but was touched by their story and new I had to help.  I thought I could raise more funds by doing something on a bigger scale and decided a walk to the sea side would do.  The cogs were turning and I decided to do it fancy dress as well.  It did'nt take long to choose the outfit of MC Hammer and how could I do this walk without performing his dance 'You Can't Touch This'. Now this was a challenge, because I can't dance for toffee!  So have been taking dance lessons, pulling muscles I hav'nt used since trying to body pop many moons ago.  I will be performing in some kind of fashion in 4 locations on route (Barnsley, Wakefield, Leeds and finally Scarborough) 28 hrs after setting off.  This will truly be none stop from start to finish...Not one rest!  I've heard so much about the amazing work Marie Curie nurses provide and would love to raise as much as possible for them with your support.
