This year I'm going solo and will have to suffer the whole 26.2 miles without the company of my usual partner, Dave Clarke, on this day of the year. Training is going well and believe it or not I'm really looking forward to another crack at the Marathon.

This is my 4th FLM and this year I've decided to support a local cancer charity with whom I already have links with through my cricket club. We have raised funds for them over the last two years and they continue to be our beneficiary in 2008.

The Ellenor Foundation supports children and adults living with cancer and other life threatening illnesses and relies heavily on donations to continue the good work that is does.
