Story

Janette said 'I want to do the marathon before I'm 40'. I said 'OK - I'll keep you company!'

Now we've got places and the training schedule is all looking a bit serious!  But I'm really enthused and excited so I'll fit it all in somehow!

Update: Janette broke her foot!!  She is devastated.  So we've deferred our places in the London Marathon until next year.  But I'm still going ahead with the training, and doing the Edinburgh Marathon instead! It's on May 27, and you can still donate using this page.

We're raising money for the Institute of Cancer Research - one of the biggest and most efficient Cancer charities with 95% of the money they raise going straight into research.  Janette and I have both seen several friends/family affected by cancer in the last year or so, making this a very relevant cause for us.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Institute of Cancer Research & Everyman will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please give as much as you can!

Thanks.
