Thank you for visiting the RotN to the Core fund raising page. We are holding charity events, mostly musical as it was started by the Rock of the North website and all funds will go to Cancer Research UK.Other global events will be held to help the charity, including Track Mania the virtual car racing game.A rock music CD album will be published during the summer of 2009 and the proceeds will also be added to the fund.

One in three people will be affected by cancer of some kind , I am presently undergoing treatment for bladder cancer but I have been a contributor to Cancer Research UK for many years before having this illness. Because of research in the past I have kept my bladder because treatment has been developed. Development of treatment costs millions so every penny helps. I do not want to selfishly dedicate money raised just to a bladder cancer charity as I know Cancer Research UK help develop medicines and treatments for many other forms of this horrible disease.
