Flora London Marathon 2006 · 23 April 2006 ·

We raise funds for research that will lead to the successful treatment and eventual elimination of kidney disease. The lives of many people are seriously affected by kidney disease. Kidney failure is an extremely debilitating illness. Research is the only answer to find a prevention or a cure.

Story

In September 2001, my Dad had a Kidney transplant. The person who donated their kidney to my Dad, was my Mum.

Now.... I don't think that my Mum get's enough recognition for this, so not only am I going to run a Marathon to raise money for the South West Thames Kidney Fund, who help research Kidney Transplants, and who undoubtably helped both of my parents, but I am also going to dedicate my Marathon run to my mum, Lis Marsh. Who you have to admit is obviously very caring, but also bloody brave!

Please help me raise money for an excellent cause.... and also try and think of me trying to run for 26 miles.... I bloody hate running!

Thanks Again Steve
