Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year i will be Running for  Click Rukiga. Rukiga is an area in South West Uganda, there is a school located here called the Kamwezi Parents School. The area is extremly rural with most of the 10 000 people here making a living through agriculture.

Ickenham St Giles church already has a strong link here and been raising money over the years and Vyners School are currently building a link with the school in which my daughter is heavily involved.

5 hours of Pain while running the marathon is nothing compared to what these people have to endure every day of their lives.

If we can raise £2500, we can make an ACTUAL difference to these childrens lives. £2500 will allow us to help build a classroom at the school. Allowing the children a stable environment to learn.

While at the start of term here starts on time unless we have some issue such as "snow", at the Kamwezi Parents School term started  late because the crop yield came early, as the only source of income for these families, the children went back to school 2 weeks late as they were needed for the harvesting.

If we build Infrastructure into the area setting up internet connections with laptops, these people can look to break this cycle of poverty and go back to school ontime, with better hope for the future.

There are some photos of the school in an albumn if you would like to see who you are helping.
