Story

The plan is to cycle 3500 miles starting in and finishing in raising £3500 for Cancer Research, why that sum of money?  The thought of £1 per mile sounds cool.

The route, head east alongside the Tagus river up past towards Andorra and crossing the .  Then drop down to the South Coast of France heading for the Rhône, head up the valley as far as and then start heading east into Switzerland and the .  After a bit I’ll then drop down into Italy heading for then off to the east towards Slovenia.  I will then have the joy of heading north and crossing the Alps again though Austria making my way for the .  The route will then take me towards Berlin and after that head north east close to the coast through Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and finally into Russia.  This part of the journey should be an easier part according to my rather basic atlas because after there is no land higher than 200m above sea level along my route.

Just think 1p per mile equates to £35 sponsorship
