Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Story

The photo to the left shows our good friends Mark and Jane Field with their son Murray and daughter Finella. Murray has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is already totally wheelchair bound at the age of 11.

I am running the London Marathon to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign which really is an excellent charity. The money raised goes towards research into muscle wasting conditions, care and support for those directly affected by these conditions and the provision of essential aids such as wheelchairs, hoists, standing frames etc.

As a Golden Bond runner for the charity, I have a fund raising target of £1500.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Muscular Dystrophy Campaign gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
