Never thought I'd do this but.....

February last year, my father-in-law Jeffrey SPIKE Sidebottom, my "second dad" was diagnosed, suffered from, and died from, lung cancer.  Within weeks he was dead.  Let down by so many, so- called 'support services' during this time he was afforded  dignity, care and respect by the Barnsley Hospice.  I have nothing but the upmost respect and gratitude for what these people did for Spike in his darkest hour.

In spike's memory I have decided to embark on a sponsored cycle ride from Ackworth to Flamborough in June this year, a distance of approximately 60 miles.  If you would like to sponsor me, please give whatever you can to support Barnsley Hospice.
